Well, I finally lost the plot with Cinammon. Yes, it's nice. But it's so damn slow. Jerky, bumpy, laggy and generally off pissing.
So I thought I'd try a few other things.
I logged out and logged back in to XFCE and WHAT a difference. My desktop belongs to me again.
Spent a while getting things how I wanted them - funny how we group different programs isn't it ?
Oooohh, that's a point. Need to add Gedit to the dock.
Ah, easy :-)
So now I'm back with something that feels like it works for me rather than against me.
Only thing I would like to sort is the fonts as they are very clunky too say the least. Oh well. Can't have everything !
